Indigenous Brazilian Natives performing traditional amazonian dances during the first World Indigenous Games celebrated in Palmas-Tocantins. They dance while preparing for war; when they return from it;celebrating crops, ripening of fruits, a good haul of fish, to mark the puberty of adolescents or honour the dead in funeral rituals. There are about 300 tribes living in Brazil today, totaling around 900,000 people.
