Striped Poison-Fang Blenny Meiacanthus grammistes occurs in the Western Pacific, max length 11cm. The solitary species is found in sheltered lagoon and seaward reefs. To prevent ingestion, the venom system of the fangblenny is delivered by enlarged canine teeth into aggressors. The species is always moving nervously, so you need good luck to get a proper photo.
