Murray Bridge, Australia: March 16, 2020: Pacific National freight train from Perth to Melbourne via Adelaide crosses the imposing bridge and viaduct over the Murray River. Many of the freight cars on the train are used to double-stack shipping containers between Adelaide and Perth. The top stack is removed in Adelaide in order for the trains to fit through the many tunnels and under the many bridges in the Adelaide Hills. There have been many plans to build a rail bypass away from the Adelaide Hills but the have all been abandoned, including the latest 2019/20 plan.
