A single flower and a flower bud of the Chilean Doca (Carpobrotus chilensis), a succulent plant of sandy beaches, sometimes known as the Sea Strawberry after its edible, if slightly salty fruit. Native to Chile and Argentina, it has been introduced to western North America and parts of Australia.
