Bramasole, the house made famous for its renovation in the book and movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun," by Frances Mayes, sits on the side of the hill outside of Cortona, Italy, with very steep gardens and lots of stone walls to hold up the terraces. Pictured here is a rustic staircase created from logs that climbs the steep grade.
