La Torre de la Reina en el Imperial College de Londres

London, England - January 18, 2020: the Queen's Tower is the last remaining part of the Imperial Institute, designed by T E Collcutt, and opened in 1893. It was built in neo-renaissance style to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1887). The Imperial Institute was demolished in stages in the 1950s and 1960s, leaving only this 287 feet tall tower in Portland stone. There are 324 steps leading from the ground floor to the copper dome. The Queen's Tower is surrounded by the buildings of Imperial College London, one of the UK's top universities.
